They form a contract between you and The Learning Bull that governs your access to our websites, newsletters, data tools, and research products. By visiting the site or using any service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Who we are and how to reach us
The Learning Bull publishes financial news, personal finance education, market data, and long form investment research for readers in Canada. Eligibility and accounts
You must be the age of majority in your province or have parental permission to use the services. If you create an account, you are responsible for the security of your login, for all activity under your account, and for keeping your contact information current. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
What you can do on our site
We grant you a limited, revocable, non exclusive right to access and use the services for personal, non commercial purposes. You may view content on your devices and print reasonable copies for your own use.
Any other use requires written permission from The Learning Bull. You may not resell, redistribute, or make a database of our content or data without consent.
Intellectual property
All articles, data, research, graphics, video, and software on the services belong to The Learning Bull or to our licensors. The Learning Bull name and logo are trademarks of our company.
Third party trademarks, including exchange names and index names, belong to their respective owners. You may not use our marks without written permission.
User contributions and feedback
If you send comments, ideas, or materials, you grant The Learning Bull a worldwide, royalty free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, and distribute that content for any purpose related to the services.
This allows us to act on your suggestions and to display your submissions where appropriate. Do not share anything that you do not have the right to share or that you wish to keep confidential.
Financial information and important disclaimers
Our journalism, data, and research are provided for education and general information. They are not investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or accounting advice.
The Learning Bull is not acting as your advisor or as a dealer. Decisions about buying, selling, or holding securities are your responsibility.

No warranties
The services are provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Learning Bull disclaims all warranties and conditions, whether express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Learning Bull and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
That includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, and business interruption. Our total liability for any claim related to the services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service at issue during the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to misuse the services. Prohibited actions include the following.
- Scraping, crawling, mining, or harvesting content or data without written permission.
- Using automated tools to register, log in, or access gated features without authorization.
- Circumventing access controls, paywalls, or security features.
- Uploading malicious code or interfering with the operation of the services.
- Infringing the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Posting unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or abusive content.
- Using the services in a way that violates applicable laws, regulations, or exchange rules.
We may investigate and take action if we believe a violation has occurred. That may include removing content, suspending access, or contacting authorities.

Market data and vendor terms

Paid products and subscriptions
If you purchase a paid product, you agree to pay the listed fees and any applicable taxes. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
You can cancel renewal in your account settings or by contacting support@learningbull.ca. Fees already paid are generally non refundable, except where required by law or where an offer expressly provides a refund window. We may change prices prospectively with notice.
We may offer trials or promotions. If a trial converts to a paid plan, the billing period begins when the trial ends unless you cancel before that date.
Communications
By creating an account or subscribing to newsletters, you consent to receive service messages and administrative communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We handle personal information according to our Privacy Policy.
Copyright concerns
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on our services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to privacy@learningbull.ca with the following details.
Your contact information. A description of the work you claim is infringed. The URL of the material you believe is infringing.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Termination
You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we believe your use creates risk for us or for other users.
Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply. That includes intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms.
Changes to the services
We improve and update our products over time. Features may change or be discontinued. We try to give clear notice when a change is material and affects how you use the service.
Changes to these terms
We will update these terms when our practices change. When we make a material change, we will post a notice and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
International users
Our company is based in Canada. The services may be accessed from other countries. You are responsible for compliance with local laws where you use the services.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute that is not subject to a separate written agreement will be heard in the provincial or federal courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
You and The Learning Bull consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If a court finds that a particular clause is unenforceable, the rest of the terms will continue to apply.
Entire agreement
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any service specific terms presented at purchase, form the entire agreement between you and The Learning Bull about your use of the services. They replace any prior agreements or understandings on the same subject.
